We are pleased to announce that our 2005 Shiraz has been released and available for purchase. A full bodied Shiraz with rich berry & peppery aromas. Very fine tannins and maturation in fine grain oak enhances the complex flavours. It is excellent to drink now and will develop further complexity with bottle ageing 5-10 years.

Also the 2005 Chambourcin is here! This traditionally basket pressed and oak maturated. It exhibits a deep rich full bodied structure with abundant flavours of cherry and plum. It complements most meat and pasta dishes.

You must sample our late picked 2006 Semillon that has a touch of residual sweetness. This is delightful with lightly spiced Asian food and is most popular.

Our 2004 Sparkling Semillon is now available. Yes, we have made a sparkling white!

The 2008 6th Annual Wollombi Valley Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition will be held October 6 to January 18 and will feature dynamic site-specific works by accomplished Australian artists. The Official opening and catalogue launch is on Saturday 18 October at the Old Wollombi Dance Hall at 5 pm.

Keep a watch for the next Wollombi Valley's Boutique Winemakers' Dinner in 2009.

Last year, well known Italian chef Bruno di Sarno, from Naples  presented a degustation dinner showcasing the best wines in the valley with a 5 course dinner that was especially selected to complement the wines. Wines were from the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail - Millbrook Winery, Stonehurst Cedar Creek,Undercliff Winery and Wollombi Village Vineyard.

The night catered for the serious and less serious wine buff alike - a beautiful gourmet event and always a lot of fun! There were blind wine tastings, tales told and much wine and food enjoyed!

Undercliff Winery and Studio was the big winner at the Lower Hunter Business Excellence Awards taking out the trophy for top Vineyard & Cellar Door in the region. The award went to Undercliff for outstanding service to customers and for the unique presentation of the wines and winery. Undercliff Boutique Winery is set in a picturesque valley, 1.5 kilometers from the centre of historic Wollombi Village. Visitors are welcomed to the cellar door to enjoy samples of the fine vintage wines in the midst of the small winery and art gallery. During the vintage (usually Feb/Mar) visitors often enjoy being involved in the wine making process. Picking grapes, pressing the fruit and testing the vintage!!
